Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting

Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting is a gospel music program published on Soundcloud by Ben Hall and Arielle Laws who describe themselves as the “Best wife and husband gospel duo since The Consolers”. All selections are from bap-tizum.com, the worlds largest online archive of Black/AfAm spiritual music and recorded live from planet Detroit. Hall has been independently running bap-tizum.com for more than a decade and I had done work for him with other projects in the past. So when asked if I would design a logo the the new music show—well, how could I refuse. The aesthetic idea for the logo was an influence rooted in early gospel record covers along with the raw xerox look of 70/80s punk rock show flyers and zines. I’m Really happy with the outcome of the logo and the show is nothing short of spectacular. I highly recommend you listen.
