Cabin Janes is a group of mountain bikers who host a weekly women’s group ride in Cabin John Regional Park in Bethesda MD. The Cabin Jane group approached me to help them design a logo and jersey. It was important to the group that the design represent the culture of the group and the terrain they ride on at their local trails: logs, “skinnies”, mountain laurels, etc. With guidance from two of the Cabin Jane members—Erika and Alla (who is herself a graphic designer and contributed to the mountain laurel design), we came up with the below designs.
